Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Baking Dish: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

Season the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin-side down. Drizzle olive oil and lemon juice over the fillets. If using lemon zest, sprinkle it on top as well.

Add Dill and Seasoning: Sprinkle the chopped dill evenly over the salmon. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bake the Salmon: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and is opaque throughout. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.

Serve: Remove from the oven and serve with lemon wedges on the side for extra flavor. This dish pairs beautifully with steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
