Direction

  1. Prepare Ingredients:

    • Slice the beef into thin strips against the grain. Chop the onion and slice the mushrooms.
  2. Sear the Beef:

    • In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips in batches to avoid overcrowding. Sear until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté Vegetables:

  4. Create the Sauce:

  5. Combine Ingredients:

    • Lower the heat and return the seared beef to the skillet. Stir in the sour cream and cook gently until heated through. Do not boil, as this can curdle the sour cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
