Ingredients
- 12 lasagna noodles
- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 lb scallops
- 1 lb crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for cooking
- Optional: 1/2 cup white wine (dry), for deglazing
Direction
- Prepare the Seafood:
- Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the shrimp and scallops to the skillet and cook until shrimp turn pink and scallops are opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- If using wine, pour it into the skillet to deglaze, scraping up any browned bits. Let it simmer for a minute, then remove from heat and set aside.
- Make the White Sauce (Béchamel):
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, to make a roux.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, a little at a time, until smooth and thickened.
- Stir in half of the Parmesan cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, garlic, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth. Remove from heat.
- Assemble the Lasagna:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shrimp, scallops, crab meat, chopped parsley, and chopped basil. Toss gently to mix.
- Layering:
- Spread a thin layer of the white sauce on the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Arrange a layer of lasagna noodles over the sauce.
- Spread half of the seafood mixture evenly over the noodles.
- Spoon a third of the remaining white sauce over the seafood.
- Repeat with another layer of noodles, the remaining seafood mixture, and another third of the white sauce.
- Finish with a final layer of noodles and spread the remaining white sauce over the top.
- Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake:
- Cover the baking dish loosely with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve:

- Let the lasagna cool for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
- Garnish with additional chopped parsley or basil, if desired.
